Costa del Folk Portugal

3 – 9 October 2022

We are delighted to be returning to the extremely popular 5* Grande Real Hotel on the stunning Portuguese Algarve coast, for Costa del Folk in the Autumn of 2022.

Set within beautifully landscaped gardens, the Grande Real Hotel boasts one of the most desirable locations in Albufeira, with stunning sea views overlooking the pristine Santa Eulalia beach. This impeccable hotel lends itself perfectly as host to a Costa del Folk festival.

It offers a huge range of facilities that cover everything needed for the perfect festival holiday. Rest assured, there will be wall-to-wall music, dancing, laughter and plenty of great food and drink.

With both indoor and outdoor venues and plenty of options for impromptu sessions there is very little time for sleep during CDF festival week at the Grande Real Hotel. Whether you are up early for Pilates with Rosie, or going to bed in the wee small hours after attending the late night folk club, one thing is certain, you’ll be spoilt for choice and be so busy making new memories, that the week will be over before you know it.

Options to extend your stay pre-festival and to stay one extra night at the end are available.

From beautiful sea view suites to garden view studios, all the accommodation at the Grande Real is superbly appointed to cater for the most discerning of traveller.

You can choose from an apartment located within the lush gardens of the complex or a comfortable room within the main Hotel building.

As the festival takes place throughout the complex, wherever you choose to base yourself, you’ll not be too far away from the action.

Take out the sun, the hotel, the sea and the food for a minute - Ibiza 2018 had the best line up of any festival I have attended. The quality of the music was outstanding, enhanced by the fact that they all loved being there.
    Jeff Morton
  • Carol Youlton
Most folk festivals are well organised and have lovely people helping. Costa del Folk raises that to a whole new level with wonderful people, care and attention from the first minute you book. The mix of known and unknown musicians and music is brilliant. It is a lovely happy party from start to finish. And in a nice hotel in the sunshine. Doesn't get any better.
