Kelly Oliver is a talented young singer songwriter, guitarist and harmonicist, who is rapidly making a name for herself on the UK folk scene thanks to a combination of highly praised record releases and live performances.

Her debut album, This Land (2014) received 4* reviews from The Telegraph and R2 Magazine while her second, Bedlam (2016) was one of the Sunday Times Essential New Releases and Folk Radio UK’s Featured Albums of the Month.

Her 5 single releases have had airplay on BBC Radio 2 and BBC 6 Music as well as coverage on Folk Radio UK, Spiral Earth and the Telegraph.

She also deserves credit for making her own luck with her first album funded by an Emerging Excellence Award from Help Musicians UK and harmonica sponsorship from the international brand, Hohner!

Major dates so far have included Cambridge, Chester, Purbeck, Larmer and the Great British Folk festivals, and support slots for Costa del Folk favourites the Young’uns, Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, Cara Dillon and Phil Beer. She also picked up the Best Female Solo Artist accolade at the NMG Awards in Cambridge.
