Noble Jacks are a new phenomenon on the folk scene. One apt description of them is as a South of England version of Skerryvore – without the kilt or the bagpipes.

They describe themselves a rip-roaring Alt-Folk band with roof raising energy and whose warm electro-acoustic interactions fuse together with a mixture of upbeat folky footstompin’ rhythms and engaging lyricism.

The band encompasses heartfelt, yet up tempo songs showcasing fiddle, blues harmonica and big anthem toplines. Last year they released a debut EP as a snapshot of their live act. This featured a bonus track of their “showstopper” The Blacksmith Stomp. Find out why they call it their “showstopper” by clicking on the link below.

With a relentless gig schedule, Noble Jacks are booked up largely by word of mouth and perform a diversity of gigs with their energetic set lending itself well to lively bars, clubs and festivals.

Noble Jacks play regular gigs in Brighton at venues such as Molly Malones and The Fiddlers Elbow, and last year hit the summer festival circuit in the “Deep South” hard with shows at Local & Live, Paddle Round the Pier, Beautiful Days, Chidfest, Chagstock, Broadstairs Folk Week and Bestival to name a few!
