Robin James Hurt

Born in Belfast, raised in Scotland and living in Wexford, Robin James Hurt’s talents as a guitarist, singer and composer have brought him on a rich and varied path. He has played with artists such as the late legendary Ronnie Drew of the Dubliners, Sinead O’Connor, Finbar Furey,Camille O'Sullivan, Garrett Wall and many others, as well as bands such as The West Seventies and Gael Slí.

Robin has released three albums and three EPs under his own name, as well as recording with many other bands and artists, and having songs featured in several TV and film soundtracks. He is a hugely popular live performer, equally at home on a festival stage (Glastonbury, Electric Picnic, Celtic Connections, many others) as in a theatre, club or small fireside session.
